Details for "Beacon of Hope 5K Run/Walk"
Please join us for a wonderful race held on the Virginia Beach Boardwalk, starting at the Old Coast Guard Station, raising funds for I Need a Lighthouse's important efforts in our community. We will be holding a drawing for prizes including one free entry into the 2010 Rock & Roll Half-Marathon, as well as gift certificates to local restaurants and shops.
If you are walking in memory of a loved one, please bring a COPY (no originals please) of their picture to place on our Beacon of Hope Memory Wall.
A 2009 Tidewater Striders Walking Grand Prix Race
Registration begins at 7:30am
5k Race/Walk begins at 9:00am
1 Mile Memory Walk begins at 9:45am
